Welcome
to Lancaster Trailways and our 2009 season offering you comfortable
tours by motorcoach to many popular destinations. Lancaster Trailways
is a family owned and operated business. We take pride and pleasure in
serving our customers. Whether a past customer or a new customer, we
look forward to serving you. Below, you may view our cancellation
policy. We will be glad to answer any questions you may have and/or
assist you in planning your group tour. Thank you for riding with us,
and we look forward to serving you in 2009!
Reservation Policy:
Day tours must be paid in full within 10 days of tour booking to hold
your reservation. All multi-day tours require a minimum of $100.00
deposit within 10 working days of booking and must be paid in full 30
days prior to departure. On some tours, the deposit could be more or
less, depending on the tour. Reservations made after the final payment
date require payment in full at the time of the reservation.
Customarily these are our payment guidelines; however due to certain
circumstances, alternate arrangements , may be arranged.
Cancellation Policy-Land Packages:
A full refund will be issued to all passengers whose cancellations are
received prior to the final payment due date. Cancellations received
less than 30 days prior to travel are subject to a minimum cancellation
fee of $50.00 per person plus any other non-recoverable expenses for
which Lancaster Trailways has contracted. No refund will be issued for
cancellations received 14 days prior to departure. NO exceptions will
be made. Cancellations must be made during business hours.
Cancellation and Trip Interruption Insurance:
It is not a requirement of Lancaster Tours as a tour operator; nor is
it required by the cruise lines, amtrak or airlines that you purchase
tour/trip protection insurance. We do however, highly recommend the
insurance. It is a very small purchase in comparison to forfeiting the
entire cost of a trip or tour due to last minute illness, death, etc.
Please ask for a brochure.

contact the office 48 hours in advance if for some reason these

It is also imperative that we be
given advance notice if any passenger should require special medical
attention or oxygen. Lancaster Tours would like to provide these
passengers with as much enjoyment and comfort during their trip/tour as
possible. This will allow us to make provisions to adapt to the
situation.
Additional Note:
As we are all aware, the pricing of fuel has risen tremendously; and
unfortunately there appears to be no end to this climb in the near
future. Please understand that our mode of transportation as a provider
requires fuel just as we all do in our normal day-to-day living. As
you are all experiencing the trauma of this added expense, we too are
faced with astronomical fuel expenses in order to continue operate our
motorcoaches. Still, we all want the luxury of a vacation, get-a-way or
a "little adventure". So please try to allow for fuel surcharges that
may become necessary now in any form of travel. Any increase will
certainly be as minimal as possible.
Statistics indicate that
motorcoach travel is listed as the "safest mode of transportation"; We,
at Lancaster Trailways are making a real difference in the World's
Environment effort to "Get Greener and Get Cleaner". We are committed to
continue to provide our customers with great transportation and
outstanding service.
